Obama declares National Day of Mourning for Hubert Schlafly, Teleprompter Inventor

The International Community’s gifted speech reader Barack Obama declared a National Day of Mourning for Hubert Schlafly who passed away yesterday at age 91. Schlafly was widely known as one of the creators of the Teleprompter.

The Teleprompter was such a monstrous invention that Schlafly himself did not use one until 2008 when he was inducted into the Cable Television Hall of Fame (talk about an oxymoron).

It was rumored that Schlafly was working on a far-reaching upgrade of the Teleprompter where the Teleprompter feeds the speaker with truth serum as the reader reads. Alas, this improvement may end up being history’s loss.
