With Papal candidacy in shambles, Tom files suit to void election. Add: Late Breaking News

Citing a lack of transparency that torpedoed his Papal Candidacy, Tom appeared at the steps of the Court House to announce that he has filed suit to void the recent election of a new Pope.

Tom challenged the vote as Cardinals were forced to vote, did not have to show photo ID and that there was a hint of black in the alleged white smoke. Until the matter is resolved, Tom will set up a Pope in Exile office in a leading Rome bar.

Vatican observers has noted that Tom’s candidacy is up in smoke.

Late Breaking News: After a hastily arranged Conference Call, Tom announced that he was withdrawing his suit and will hit up Carnival with Pope Francis.

Who knows with the right pictures, there could be a new election shortly.

  1. I say go for Carnivale, baby! Nothing gets a guy out of the emotional dumps faster than a bunch of samba-ing scantily-clad women!
But do keep an eye on Franky the Uno. Not sure if we can trust a Buenos Aires boy to keep his nose outta Falklands/Malvinas issues…. 😉

Oops, I may have expanded the Territory that Francis ruled as a Cardnal. But then Americans don’t understand geography anyway. But the guy is 76 years old and Carnivale may be too much for him. Didn’t they learn there lesson when they elected Benedict.
